Kris, meet the truth. Truth, this is Kris.

It is becoming increasingly apparent that Kris Kobach either:

1. Is incredibly sloppy with his facts;
2. Has a very tenuous grip on the truth; or
3. Just doesn't care.

The latest example? This statement to the Wyandotte West newspaper:

[Kobach] asserted that Rep. Moore has not secured any Congressional appropriations for the Wyandotte County area or anywhere else in the Third District during his years in office. A Republican would be able to change that, Kobach said.

Really, Kris? No appropriations in Wyandotte or anywhere else in the Third District?

Nothing? Not any? Not in Wyandotte? Not in Johnson? Not in Douglas? Or Wyandotte again? Or Douglas again? Or Johnson and Wyandotte? Or Wyandotte and Johnson? Or Johnson and Wyandotte again? Or Johnson by itself?

That's quite the claim. If only there were some way to check and see if it is true...
